984 are a lower flow rate than 803, by about 5-10% IIRC

So they wont work with a stage 3 chip at standard pressure, but they would work if you either upped the fuel pressure or lengthened the injector pulse all the way by the relevant percentage.

If you are planning on a live map anyway i would have thought they will be fine.

It says 803's in the advert so you shouldn't have needed to check the part number!
I know what i would do with them and it wouldn't be pleasant!!

There is a worldwide shortage of 803s at the moment, so you stand more chance of getting a new set than Phil does getting laid over the weekend (slim to NFC ).

I have emailed him. So see what he says. Looks like a regular user so hopefully should get my money back without hassle.

There is a few more 803 sets on ebay. Dont wanna go down the same road tho !!

Cossiecrew mentioned using greys. Do you have them in stock stu??

Would it do any harm/advantage using them although they are more expensive ??

You cant just use them on a stage 3 chip.

The only thing you can use on a stage 3 standard chip is the intjectors the map was written for (greens) or some other injector with the same flow rate (like these ones you have now at a slightly higher pressure, but thats dodgy to say the least and would need checking out for AFR still really)

I found some injectors that flow the same as 803s ( i think 0.5% more at most),
same package.

Only difference is that the coil is 3.9 ohms as apposed to 4.7.
Opening time will be the same or very close, the ecu will handle the extra current as they have a huge margin of safety.

The only time opening times make the most difference is at idle anyway.

Going to get some when i get paid the money i am owed!

This is the main reason i'm not using E-Bay as much as i used to. Too many chancers trying there luck

Get in touch with him and try to get your money back including all postage costs and if you dont have any luck get him reported.

annoying thing is they are only 200 quid new from a proper shop normally if you can find somewhere with them in stock.

I got my last couple of sets of greens both through rob@rsc on here, dont know if he still has any more though

I just been through the nitemare of getting hold of some greens. Ended up having to buy a complete 2nd hand stage 3 kit, taking the injectors out and will sell the other bits on.
