Default saw a MFI RST Style injection system on a ferrari today lol

.couldnt beleive it, the bloke next to my lock up restore old fiats and sum old ferrari's today he asked me if i knew anything about the injection system on a 328 gts (i think) i was puzzled and thought he was taking the piss! went and had a look and it was a 8 injector metering unit the same as a rst one!, with most sensors on it, even runs a rst fuel pump,....it is the original injection system they use,

the car would just pop and bang and die!! after start up, im giving him my old rst fuel pump to try as his ones been laying about for years! and he think it could be that!, strange what u see on some cars.......

porka turbo, few rarri's and quite a lot of other stuff run it. It's actually a very very clever system, unfortunetly few people know what they are doing with it

Damn, thought I had you there Steve (you now being a motoring journo type an' all that ) but you cleverly used the word 'type'

F40 runs P8x2

LOADS of German cars (funnily enough) ran K-Jet & KE-Jet..........

Yes 8v Golf GTI's ran K jet, they had braided fuel lines instead of nasty plastic red ones though
