I am upgrading the speakers in the laguna, but want a switch to turn off the rear speakers when kacey is in the ca as she has a video player that she watches, (at present i have just discounected the rears). How difficult is it to install a switch to do this? and is it just a case of wacking a swtich in line with the rear speaker wires? there are no amps to worry about just yet

 

you could just fade it to the front on the head unit.

 

tis true, but tis a pain to do that every morning, then back again when i drop kacey off, then again in the afternoon etc,

 

You'll need a switch for each speaker (left and right), alternatively, you can get switches which can switch two circuits at once.

Find a maplin local to you, explain what you want and the geeky sales assistant behind the counter may be able to explain it all to you.
