my saph suffers with piston slap do i need a re build if so whot pistons do i use the engins done 73.000 miles

 

does it only slap when cold as they all do. the 4wd had an offset gudgeon pin that reduced the slap quite a bit. these pistons are lower compression depends on the depth of the head ie has it been skimmed. PJ motorsport can advise you.

 

it only slaps from cold so is this nothing to worie about cherss
