Alright all
I just done a cossie management conversion on me rs turbo and i went to bolt me map sensor on the inner wing vertically and me mate said you can only bolt em on the bracket in the same position as a cossie with the multi plug and vac pipe pointin down! is this true or is me mate tellin fibs???

it must be mounted as in a cossie - with the nipple vertically down. that is to stop fluid (water condensation or oil) collecting in the sensor that's present in the air in the inlet manifold (you mis-understood 2001ode, it's nothing to do with rainwater

Yes, ForeigneRS, I never said to avoid rain water entrance, just I said "to avoid water entrance", in fact water condensation.
But, where water condensation come from ? From the air, and from the rain.
