Hey guys!
my 3dr has been giving me a few problems with the fuel pump lately..
It started with the fuel pump didn’t run when I turned the ignition on after I parked the car. I waited a little while, checked for loose cables etc. All of a sudden it run again. And like this it has been doing on and off for a few months now..
15 years ago, I installed a Bosch 044-pump and rewired the pump via a new relay with an external power source direct from battery to make sure the supply was enough, as should be done. The signal to the new relay was wired via the old pump wiring.
now, the signal isn’t working between the old fuel pump relay and my “new” relay, and the pump is working as soon as I jump my new relay between 30/86.
so my question is, where is the original fuel pump relay located? Is it behind the left hand kick panel as shown in my picture? I don’t have a wiring diagram and I’m absolutely not very experienced with electrics.
