Hi are there any differences between a mk4 cabriolet mfi fuel tank and an rs turbo fuel tank? Cheers

 

From particulate silt in the tank, to buildups abandoned in a carburetor or choke body, whatever is gotten from the energizes or its compound breakdown, dissipation or destabilization is thought of as a "fuel store."

Both are MFI and the fuel tanks are always the same for saloon, estate or cab.

 

Nice one cheers , i thought that and ordered an rs for my cabby but the fuel filler neck doesnt fit flush in the tank... Any ideas?

 

There are 3 different fuel tanks
1. fuel injection cars up to 1986
2. fuel injection cars from 1986 -early 1989
3.fuel injection cars that are 90 spec.
I believe its the size of the opening on top of the tank that differs.
