sierra 1.6 camshaft qwestion
hello
i want to put a bigger cam in my 1.6 sierra
the stock 2 liter will fit
but i want to go a little above that
like a mild road or fast road
but will that fit without modifying the head ?
who has some info about this ?

Its a cheap power upgrade to a 1600 pinto.. it will make it a kind of spec to a 1600 sport.. the best upgrade would be twin carbs or bike carbs really but if its a low compression engine your going to find it hard getting much more out of it
i was planning on bringin it up to gt spec
its a high compression engine
i have 4-2-1 exhaust manifold
a 2.0 intake with a new 32/36 carburator
and now that i am going to order a new 2.0 camshaft kit
i have every thing except the camshaft
if i put some work on the intake manifold
i hope it will bring me arround 95 hp with a good wide powerband
i think its close to gt spec then
