Default Gravity performance alloy radiators any good?

Anyone had any experience of these please?

https://www.gravityperformance.co.uk/product/cooling/radiators/50mm-high-flow-radiator-ford-sierra-rs500-cosworth-2-0-86-92/

Seem very cheap for £150 but need a new radiator and never know whether £500 for a named brand is actually worth it.

Supposed to be a direct fit

It will be made in China but some parts from there are very good quality, for £150 quid got to be worth a look. It has got all the right specification that you need.

Hi James you are right, if you can afford it go for a well known brand with a good reputation, but on my Son's Subaru Impreza track day car we have been very impressed with some of the Chinese made parts that we have bought. It seems to me some Chinese made stuff is very poor quality and yet other stuff is really high quality but it's pot luck really!

Thanks, I’ll have a think. My motto is usually ‘buy cheap, buy twice’ but I wondered if anyone had actually tried them.

Personally I wouldn't risk it, if you can wait till funds allow or can go for a reputable make with a good track record I'd go down that route.

Keep us informed when you get it, be interesting to hear what it's like quality wise.

What do you think of the new radiator? Is it well made with good welds etc?

Yeah, it looks good to my untrained eye. I need to get it fitted as my standard one has a very slight leak so need to get it changed over now it's off the road for the winter.
