Not been on the forum in years, been out of the RS scene a while now, but still have my RST in storage. Time to recommission it.

i'm collecting all parts in now, but I'm struggling with finding rear brake drums & shoes. anyone know of manufacturers that still produce these for the mk4 S2 RST?

think the shoes are 45x229 & the drums are 229 inside dia.

i've found drums available from Burton (but bit on the pricy side), but shoes Out of stock. cant seem to find anywhere else that supplies them.

whats everyone else been doing for replacements? is there another old Ford with the same size & fitment?

there is someone selling them on the bay as a set (drums and shoes) for Ł330 item number is 324989317746 hope this helps

cheers mate. thanks. yeah i'd seen the inflated price ones on ebay, not willing to pay them prices.

I've found some, manufacturer is TRW, and their PN is GS6229, if anyone needs them.

also Mintex, still make the drums, and the PN for them is MBD038
