Default Ka heaters hot

So I've just got a 1.3 08 plate ka. It seemed fine, then drove 9 miles and noticed the heater blowers were really hot to touch. I turned them on and on the cool setting but they just blowed out hot air.
After getting home and letting the car sit, i left the engine off and put the blowers on the cool setting again and cool air came out. So seems they only get hot and blow out hot air when car is running. So where would the problem be? Thanks

As above the Heater control valve is a big problem on Ka/Fiesta vehichles , don't buy a cheap one they just give the same problem, genuine ford only.
