Over the last 2-3 years I’ve been taking my car out around Christmas time, this year I decided to tax it on Christmas Day and enjoy it a little over the course of the week, on the 2nd Jan we headed up to Braemar which is usually around an hour away from me, but on this occasion it’s was probably around double that due to ice and a ridiculous number of deer on the road, the heavy snow on the surrounding hills can see them heading down to lower ground where there are more trees and shelter, it was easily the most hazardous part of the outing! It’s nice to get the car out and use it, I’ve owned this one for 21 years and 10 months, so it has seen plenty winters back when it was in daily use, although admittedly it spends most of its time in my garage these days, its safely back in there after being extensively rinsed and cleaned.
Rog, you are a brave man getting out in those conditions! Is your Saff a 4x4? I know I would'nt be game to try using my 2wd Saff in the snow and ice, with 450bhp I have to be careful in the rain let alone snow and ice!!!!

Yes mate it’s 4x4 with T4 & straight cut box, good fun to use it in all weathers and nice to do something a bit different than a summer show, I enjoy this way more tbh!

Fair play to you, I bet you were the only Sapphire Cosworth in Scotland out that day!!
