HI everyone.
Let's cut to the chase , the neighbors car got set alight and caused some heavy duty wounds to my car.
The engine bay seems to be ok , the interior also looks like it didn't suffer from the heat. Heat was so intense that the wing mirror melted off and the drivers side rear tyre melted.
Problem I have is when the fire brigade rocked up to let off the hose in the cabin like I owed them money.
Been 2 weeks now left oil filled rads and space heaters to dry , but my car is dead. I have pulled out the fuse box swapped that along with the fuses and relays. The 2x 60amp and 80 amp fuses are ok. But the car is completely dead. Only light that comes on is the air bag light and that's it no radio , no lights , no priming pumps sounds. When the I turn the key in the ignition the starter turns over but only runs for a split second. Only thing that works is the electric windows. Any idea what to replace and check ect.
Any check list would be great
Also my car dose have an immobilizer so if I swap the ECU that's gonna get me know where wright !

Hi you any photos of the car? it will have ford alarm/imob system and chip key aswell so to change it you will need all the matched set from another escort if its all dead on your car
