PCV Valve/Oil separator Ford Fiesta Mk4
Hi guys -
I think sometimes I must post things on here that have been answered before.. but here goes anyway!
I managed to sort the thermostat housing out in the Mk4 and that’s worked a treat! I’ve got another question for those in the know now…
my PCV valve (the one you can see under the bonnet that’s attached to the air filter housing) have a hose coming out of the bottom - which I think should be connected directly to the oil sepearator housing.
it’s never been connected since I had the car and it does run fine without this attachment. However. I’d like to know how I go about reattaching it and how to get at the oil separator because up until now I’ve been unable to. While I had the alternator off and the headlight out I also stripped the filter housing out and got down to the manifold but didn’t want to remove that as I had no gasket to go in it.
can I get at the oil separator any other way??
thanks - Louis.
