Anyone into rc cars


I've got a few now.

 

4 of them are nitro.
a few of them are kiddy spec and the rest or decent/proper rc cars/trucks

 

I had a load of hpi Baja and that sort but sold them all recently, I kept my FG Marder as not worth much and had it forever.

i still have a Tamiya Escos somewhere.

there cool i had some electric ones years back. we used to make are own tyres from neoprene. always wanted a glow plug fuel one. i do have an one mtr vintage pond yacht i fitted it out with radio gear

 

cool them matey.

 

The nitros are good fun. They take some setting up though sometimes.

 

Cheers, the Subaru is nitro and is abit temperamental....sometimes no issues and others it gets shouted at and the electric ones come out

Yeh nitros are a pain in the ass. When they are set up ok they are mint.

I have 4 arrma infractions

ones a basher
then a back up with speed gearing
then a mint 1
and a v1 gear for around 120/130 mph

and a arrma outcast 8s

and 4 Tamiyas from back in the day
and A Schumacher menace 21

good fun
but the arrmas are a different league
and stupid fast 🤦‍♂️

 

I’ve a menace 21 up in the loft lol. Keep meaning to get it out and show the nephew

 

The menace was/is a quick truck
80mph 1/10

but the arrma infraction is a animal
and so is the 8s outcast
With out the smell of nitro when in shortage

but the noise of nitro is epic 👍

 

Some of mine are quick enough and I only use 3s lipos lol. The nitro ones are quick too.
