Missfire under acceleration? I've changed plugs, ht leads, coil pack... but have just noticed the wirring going to the coil pack has being soldered before and just taped up, all 3 of them.. looks messy after I peeled tape off, one of the wires was exposed at the connector/plug.. Could this be the cause? ..Dodgey connection? It idols fine tho?.. but cut out completely on me just as she went into boost, thankfully started again as I was on the road. Sorry I'm new here and not that clued up and its being lying in my garage past 4 or so years, thought I better pull it out for summer, just trying to get it ready for mot.

was it miss fireing when you put it away 4yr ago. try draing the old fuel and filter. if it wasnt cant be much. but saying that i didnt start mine for 6mths. i test drove it furl pissing out of one othe injectors abs light came on speedo stopped working and some other head fuk all good now though
