Cosworth yb main bearing bolts loctite or oil threads ?
As title. Whats the correct procedure please ?
Manual says in notes loctite 270 but says oil threads when on the rebuild page.

Oil the threads and underside of the bolt head. Torque to 75 lb/ft.
On main cap #5, run a small line of RTV sealant along the 2 edges in the block before fitting the cap, clean up any excess that squeezes out once torqued down.
