ive not driven the saff for six months i cant remember if the abs light goes out after the system does its check when the car is stationary or after the car has done more than five or ten miles per hour. could somone jog my memory that would be great. i have a problem for sure. thanks in advance
If I remember right, light comes on for up to 20 seconds whilst the system tests and pressurises. It should then go out until you reach about 20 mph unless there is a problem with a speed sensor when it will retest and come back on

thanks for the reply. just to be sure your abs light goes out after the start up check stationary without moving the car. ive got issues anyway frikin thing was fine i ve done some welding on it where previous owners have crushed the jacking points or not jacking points in there case. i disconected the battery completely and put the surge protector on the leads also cant help thinking its to do with this. or maybe just coindidence i had issues years ago after welding also using the surge protector fukin thing wouldnt start properly for the first couple of times i will have to clean the usual shit if it dont cure it im wiring the abs light to the oil pressure switch i want to drive the fuking thing not ass about with it ive been doing bits and bats all winter to it its time for fun now not more bumming about thats for next winter

Do you hear the pump going? Have you checked the two fuses and relays under the glove box area
