Default 1991 Ford Sierra Ghia Front right fog light not working.

Checked loom connector from fog light to connector on loom - it works as does the bulb when plugged into the front left hand side connector.

however, rhs front connector even when connected to fog light retains 4.99 Volts when lights on and fog light switch pushed on.

lhs front provides 12.59 volts.

I’ve checked the earth points behind the front headlamps but despite removing and cleaning/sanding the earth point I still can’t get the fog light to work.

presuming it’s shorting to earth somehow but has anyone else seen a similar occurrence and if so what did you do to fix it?

Still trying to figure out the issue with my wiring as replaced both fuses and the white relay and still no front right fog light.

can anyone please assist if they have ever had the same issue and if so how did they rectify the issue?

okay ill give that a try Ray thanks for your help I’ll give it a shot to see if it works but still the strange thing is why it stopped working all of a sudden.

just have tk figure out also why my abs is acting up despite having replaced the abs-controller/servo unit too still getting locking of rear wheels 🛞 and brake pedal going rock hard then back to normal.

strange gremlins out of the blue
