Default New car Ferrari f12

Never really thought I'd do it and buy a badge but after hearing the sound of a decatted f12 it was simply the best exhaust sound I'd ever heard

And adding the fact they are still holding there money very well and could be the last V12 drivers GT car they make I believe potential to be a good investment so took the plunge and bought a 6900 mile 2013 car

Had to be red with the tan interior like the 308 tom selleck had in magnum pi 😁😁Several options I wanted aswell some of them are barmy money, as an example £2500 for a carbon cup holder 😮
The car has all the interior carbon, JBL stereo and the special berlinetta red paint they did, luckily found a car for sale with all the bits I want

Just a nice GT car to enjoy with missus cruise for miles on end or be a complete hooligan with driver aids off and 730 hp 😁😁

Just need to find a numberplate for sensible money

Few pics from dealer as it's not been delivered yet

And number plates I've found so far
F12 REO as it's a red f12

FE12 RRE as close to Ferrari as I can find so far for sensible price

And last one F14 OFC as engine in these is an f140fc V12, I think this one is my favourite so far because it doesn't require any squinting, no one will know what it means lol, but I do and that's all that really matters I think

What's your thoughts on the plates guys ?

I have been looking but 3 and 4 digit meaningless plates still cost thousands, 5 digits cheap enough though

That's what kinda drew me to it, was voted international engine of the year 2013.
my cars have got so extreme my missus won't get in them anymore 😂🤣
so a super GT should be a great mix of comfort and speed to enjoy with the missus
And if we go out for the day and she takes her Camaro I won't fit in it as kids will fill it so I can jump in the f12 😁😁

Lovely car that, modern widow maker so do be careful! Sound better than the 812 Superfast too because of those silly petrol dpf's they have started fitting. Get a valved IPE if you want it to sound nuts but still ok for pottering around when valves on.

Widow maker is correct ridiculous with TC off 😂🤣
Tyres are 2013s though 😮😮
So I've got new Michelin mps4s for the rear now hopefully give more grip, I bought it for tail happy fun driving but spinning past 100 mph on the straights with TC off is abit much ! It's powerful but it's not that powerful I'm hopeful new tyres will give full traction from 60 mph onwards, if they don't it will be getting r888r rears

I put MP4's onto mine last year, and I've been impressed more by them than any 888 type tyre.

Although have only used them in good weather so far and a few short drives on the road. But they definitely hold better compared to anything else I've tried

Yeah I'm happy mate, I got mps4s rears, not as much outright grip as r888r but still very good all round and a quiet tyre aswell, glad I didn't go semi slicks on this one 👍

Was just heading to my accountants started up and multiple errors came up and couldn't select reverse to get out of the garage

Tried the usual on off malarky but no joy, Ferrari collected the following day and I did manage to get reverse with persistence but they said not to use needs checking

I bet it's had more abuse the last 6 weeks than its had in its life, well I know it has as was on original tyres with virtually no wear at 6800 miles !!

A bit disappointing but at least they responded quickly. Could it be something stupid like the battery?

🤣😂 Lol

It was a used approved so came with 12 months warranty included

Decision I have to make in February if I get extended warranty myself, it's about £3000 a year

Or I go it alone as jm imports will support at alot cheaper cost than main dealer

I think I'm up to about $8000 in solinoids and bits in the gearbox of my daily, been with the dealer over a month now waiting for parts but at least I got a brand new car to put miles on. Just can't get parts anymore, I know a few people that have been waiting 2+ months for normal run of the mill car bits.
