What is the advantage of putting a diesel gearbox on my S2 RS Turbo?

 

Will Be quick car upto 100mph.. i had one in my mk2 xr2 turbo technics 1.8td escort box.. aslong as u can lay rubber down not much kept up with it but it was revn its nuts off at 90mph area i think it topped out at 120mph on clocks that is

 

There is no advantage. The whole "its stronger" bs is a myth, it has the exact same design flaws as any petrol box. Its non-LSD (easily fixable but still....) and the ratios aren't exactly great for motorway driving
