Default Will a zetec fit in a 2.9 xr4x4

As above. Will a 2.9 xr4x4 gearbox fit on a zetec. I've a turbo zetec engine and would like to fit it in a 4x4 sierra. I'm guessing bell housings or different, can they be swapped or what's involved or is it not possible. 4x4 twin cams are a lot harder to get.

Are you gonna keep the 4x4 system? On the sierra 4x4s the front driveshafts go through the sump.

I didn't know that. Yes I wanted 4x4 as I dont believe I could drive a rwd sierra with 300bhp.
I take it that would mean a real butchering match to sort the sump, that theirs no easy way around it.

You should have no problem driving a 300bhp RWD Sierra. There are plenty of 400/500bhp 2wd Sapphire Cosworths out there.
