Are you talking about tyres for track day use? If so there are quite a few which are both road legal and suitable for track day. Toyo, Nanking, Kuhmo etc all have track day tyres. Prices vary quite a lot as well and remember you will need a matching spare in case you get a puncture.

As i said in my earlier reply there are quite a few makes to choose from, depends on how much you want to spend.I currently have Federal 595RS 215/40/17 on my 2wd Saff. Remember not many will have the same wet road performance as a normal road tyre.

I was thinking about Toyos’s R888Rs, a tyre that has fast warmup, progressive grip and when you crossed its limit is also progressive.
there is a problem with standing water.
on light rain I believe that it will behave almost like Cup2s
a friend of mine has the 595RSR, it behaves good overall but needs a bit more time to warmup.
I have also seen Zestino and Nankang tyres (NS2R)
(all these tyres is sapphire Rs Cosworth (2wd)

They are all good so it is a personal choice. As a matter of interest what power is your 2wd Saff? Mine is 450bhp and in the wet you have to be very careful with track day tyres that are designed mainly for dry weather. Do not think you can drive as hard as you can on road tyres that are designed to pump water out of the tyres!!

I have little more than 400hp with a T35, I used to drive it in the rain but with very soft touch on throttle to avoid any issue from my previous semis (Cup2)
i am afraid that if I do not have semi on my car there must be difficult to drive on dry because boost comes immediately (2,2 bar at 3500 rpm).
thats why I was thinking about R888R’s

You will notice that with track day tyres you get a lot more grip off the line with less wheelspin. I can power slide mine in second gear on a dry road but there is no way I would do the same thing on a wet road!!!
