My 2WD DOHC GLS front sway bar bushings are shot and the parts guy gave me these bushings, saying they work better. They look completely different from the stock ones, I think he said these are for the 4x4 models. Can anyone enlighten me? Sorry for the terrible quality.

 

The bushes for 2wd and 4x4 fit in the exact same way, so that’s never going to be an issue. I’ve heard before there would be difference in OE Cosworth bushes and OE normal bushes, where the Cosworth ones would be stiffer. But in reality the OE Ford bushes are crap anyway. The bushes you got seem like heavy duty items which are probably a lot better than the OE ones. Personally I only fit polyurethane bushes to TCA/ARB connection.
