2003 Mondeo Mk3 ST220 query:
Got a replacement cog to fix the snapped cog on the sunroof motor.
Sunroof only opens upwards.
When pressing to close, it causes the interior lights/radio to dim/crackle respectively.
Then the fuse blows.
Winding manually is like trying to drive an old car without powersteering (for those that remember non-power steering effort when turning a car).
Thoughts are perhaps the entire sunroof assemble mechanism is in need of replacement. Anyone experience anything similar across the ford range? Or have a mk3 mondeo they are breaking with a complete sunroof set up (motor, glass, mechanism, switch?)
Cheers!
