Hi guys,

I'm from Holland and have owned my '86 Escort XR3i since 1996. In the mean time i've done some conversions, like RS turbo engine swap, 1.8 zetec bottom end, piper cams, 3,5 inch mongoose exhaust, cossy waste gate actuator, porsche fuel pump, ~15psi turbo boost, chipped ecu etc... Still standard: Turbo, Intercooler, MFI injectors.

The funny thing is: since the installation of the pipercams (285??) I experience a certain fuel (?) cut-out at about 6k rpm. It sounds like a "brrrrrrr" and not pulling. Doesn't cut out completely though. So I'm guessing its a fuel/air related issue.

Anyone have experience with this kind of issues? I was looking for porsche/Saab MFI injectors (bosch number: 0 437 502 004), but i'm not sure if they will fit (these are longer) or even solve this problem.
