Default Series 1 Rs- to buy or not to buy?!

Hi all,

After having a couple RS S1 back in the day when they were under 2 grand 1994-95! Why did I sell them?!! Looking at using my hard earned life savings to go again!!

I’m not looking to try and make a load of money on it, however, I’m slightly worried about shelling out the best part of 30g and the price dropping away....

In your opinions, will they hold up in the current market if kept up together or have I missed the crazy boat and need to accept that if I purchase one, I could well be seriously out of pocket in 10 years time?!

many thanks is in advance for your welcome advice and thoughts?!

I miss mine, would love another. But they aren't worth Ł30k (or even half that, imo)

I know this is a Ford site but I would be looking elsewhere to spend 30g on a car!

I had a S1 in the 90s and it was the worst car I've had reliability wise.

If you want to just put it in the garage and not drive it all well and good.
