Sorry for my weird english, I'm writing you from France, I hope you will still answer to me!
I have recently purchased a set of OZ Racing in 16 inches, to fit to my Sierra Cosworth Sapphire trophy in few years, when my current tyres on my stock wheels will be worn out. As I don't use the car so often i'm not in a hurry, but very pleased to have those rims which where a small dream for me.
I had the joy to find out that two rims of the four I bought have this little ford sign stamped on the shoulder of the rim. I was also a little disappointed that the other ones didn't have it, but I was very happy.
I called few friends, and no one knew about this little ford sign on some Oz wheels. Do you know the history of this sign? What does it mean?
I thought maybe those rims were on a escort cosworth sold new, and they herited this litte sign? beside the fact they are ET 25.
Any ideas will be more than welcome. If someone know as well how it was made, it looks very nice. I'm afraid I won't refurbish them, as this sign will disappear.
