This has me puzzled
This has me puzzled, I was awoken by a neighbour around midnight last night to say one of my headlights was on. It was just the near side front headlight. I'm puzzled because I hadn't used any lights yesterday. I went out and started the engine then turned it off and the light went off.
If there's any Ford mechanics on here, what caused that? I'm worried in case it happens again, this time I was lucky a neighbour spotted it. I'm worried in case it's some sort of warning that turned that light on.

Does it have a parking light that's activated by pressing the indicator stalk after turning it off? I'm sure my Transit had that, and it was easy to accidentally put on if you were moving around the cabin before getting out and knocking the indicator stalk up or down
Funny you should mention that Thrush, when I switched on the engine I noticed the indicator was on so switched that off. Now I wondering if that caused the light to be on late last night then.

It probably did. I'm sure when I had my Transit if you pushed the indicator stalk up or down, with the ignition off, it put the corresponding near/off side parking light on

Blimey I thought computers were complicated but I'm learning cars can be too these days. Years ago it was easy to change plugs/points etc but not today. Thanks for your advice, I will keep an eye on it now.
