I have had constant EGR issues since I bought my car 2010 1.6 tdci had 3 new ones in nearly 3 years .The last one fitted by main dealer as the garage couldn't sort it...now that one had failed...so I removed it and cleaned it.but still a problem...cleaned it again no joy...so I have now blanked it initially I still had a lack off power with EGR stuck closed code so I unplugged it run perfect...last week I plugged it back in again deleted codes and the codes have not come back engine has power back i had this once before after a few weeks off unplugging it....is it forcing the ECU to reset and relearn the the values??
