I like most was a fan of the original 3 stooges however the fact that the grand tour as such is all but dead and a lack of enthusium or interest shown by them to keep their fans database alive other than a few streamed blogs has meant petrolheads have looked elsewhere for tv motoring entertainment, the first of the past series of top gear in various guises flopped with evans and le blanc as the cast had no chemistry at all nor flow, Now shown on BBC1 last nights show was a ford fest for our delight and although paddys accent grind's my gear's it was a good entertaining watch and they had chemistry on screen, of course this whole thread is my opinion of course

 

Was saying to the guys in work this morning about it, they seem to have gelled properly and it actually works now.

Lets see how long it lasts?

 

if its stays in this format then I see no reason for it not to do well and getting a BBC1 slot even the old trio did not get that, we shall see how rest of season goes

 

Same as every series and every cast change.... To much irrelevant nonsense and not enough car feature, I'd like to see more new car features with track shootouts plus I can't be arse listening to mcguinness shouting and screaming his way through every episode either.

 

I agree with this. The proper reviews Chris Harris does are great. Definitely more of this and some shootouts would be much better.
Paddy shouting his way through every episode is bloody annoying.

 

Funny, you used to slag the original "3 stooges" off before TG got relaunched and revamped

 

Thought it was great, lots of classic fords and who don't love a classic bmw either

 

Just see that Chris bought that E21 , though he might! One to add to his vast collection of proper cars

Good to see they didn't wreck the cars too.

 

I personally think they have nailed it, the last lot with evans and le Blanca I stopped watching it but these 3 have me in stitches most shows and I look forward to it every week 😊😊

 

Just started watching top gear America on discovery+.... Apart from the annoying accents, although not as annoying as mcguinness the content is much better so far .
Episode 1 is super cars, general nonsense tests but not as strained as top gear UK... Give it a try...
