Default Common rail diesel injectors..

Evening everyone,
Can anyone tell me what would happen if a common rail Bosch diesel injector was wired wrongly?
Got a Merc e320 w211 3.2 6 cyl engine with totally cooked, discoloured injector wiring to sort out..
Just curious as to what could happen.
Cheers.

I guess three choices.

It'll be spot on
it won't run
or hold the injector open ruining the engine.

Piezo injectors are powered both open and closed from a high voltage.....no idea whether that is your type or not, so that would be critical.

Not sure on more regular injectors.

Find a Mercedes forum, or there are various tech type pages on FB you could probably ask for the correct wiring details kin lieu of finding a vehicle to check yourself.

Thanks Steve, much appreciated mate.
Had a word with Bosch's technical department and these Bosch versions fitted to the e320 could get damaged if connected wrongly, I'll have to cut back all the tape on the whole loom and do one wire at a time respecting the colours.
Cheers
