can someone with more knowledge than me, advise me if mk4,5 6 escort sunroof with fit mk3 as I can find mint one an where?

Assuming you mean the roof itself (i.e. glass) then I think the answer is yes.

The reason I believe this to be the case is I was looking for one for a Sierra a while ago and know the Escort and Granada MK3 are the same.

I managed to get one, but when I was researching apparently a MK6 Escort is the same, therefore this would mean it would be the same as an MK3. Again this does not apply to the frame, which will most likely be different.

Don't think so, I'm sure the frames will be different.

Frame corrosion is a common issue and is exactly what happened in my case.

A mk4 sunroof will fit a mk3 shell but you need to fit the mk4 runners as well, to do this you need to take about 20mm of the boot hatch end of the runners to fit.
I believe the mk5/6 glass fits the mk4 runners but I can’t confirm that.
