It is my understanding that both abs and non uprights are the same but abs are machined for the sensor? My question is there a difference between cv drive axels with the sensor ring and not? Are the stubs and splines the same length? I have a problem with loose bearings on an abs upright where the nut seems to be holding with only 4-5 threads and wondering if I've got a mix of incompatible parts?
They are listing different part numbers so something differs with abs and none abs. My understanding was Cosworth have there own stubs shared with granada
I would look at the back to see if the drive shaft is pulled in completely. Not sure on the ABS vs. non-ABS, as almost all 4x4’s had ABS. Is yours an early XR4x4?
I have found that XR4X4, Saph, Scorpio and Escort Cossie all have different part numbers for the front outer CV. What is different on Escort is there is no listing for this washer
