Hi

Has anyone managed to remove the balljoint (outer) and replace? Seems stupid me buying new arms every frickin' time for the sake of a wanky balljoint that probably costs a few quid.
Slapped my balljoint removal tool on it but couldnt get it to move, but its an awkward arse of an angle so maybe more perseverance required - just interested to know if anyone else has been a cheap skate and taken this approach?

The Escort MK3/4 TCA ball joints are non-serviceable. One new quality aftermarket TCA costs about 20-30 pounds on the internet. Ball joints aren't that much cheaper!

 

Cheers for confirming - after 20+yrs of buying the fookers, I just thought I could start servicing/reusing them in some way.

 

I guess you could get a set of arms custom made with removable joints?
