PATS code 16 and DTC U2150. Engine Malfunction. Wont start.
I have a 2009 1.6 TDCI that won't start.
It also won't connect to Forscan, which is odd, so must be a clue as to whats going on.
The immobiliser LED is giving me 1 and 6.
I think the PATS code of 1:6 and DTC code of U2510 (comms between PATS and PCM) means there is a fault in the canbus wiring.
I'm going to check for dry joints / cracked joints on the instrument cluster but this is a hard fault and not intermittent.
Also going to check correct resitance across Canbus on at the OBDII port.
No blown fuses.
I got the codes out via the built in dashboard display.
Anything else worth checking?

Canbus scopes out ok at OBDII port. 60ohms.
Resoldered all the pins in the instrument cluster. Some defo had cracks around them, but still no change.
PATS 1:6 and Engine/Transmission malfunction.
Forscan wont connect.
What to try next?
