Which diameter rear coilover springs are used on the Gaz and Avo sets? I was thinking 2.25” ID, as those are the main ones available from DFaulkner. They hardly have any 2” ID springs listed. But I wonder if I should actually have the 2” ones.

 

GAZ rears are 2.25” internal diameter.

 

Thanks! I was confused as the 2.25" spring I have now rubs a lot on the left side. I already hammered the wing, but couldn't get enough clearance to not rub at all when the spring compresses. I have now offset the lower mount as far as possible and it just clears by a hair. It seems like the 6 degree beam makes the rubbing a lot worse than it was on the standard beam, as the car had AVO coilovers when I bought it. Then it was only slightly rubbing while the lower mount was even in the centre and not offset.

 

They all seem like that.
Factory variance in body shells as well contributes I recon.
