Default Rebuild help saf cossie

Hi,

just purchased a Rolling shell (2WD) last month ive already brought the rear axl and front sub-frame to make it a rolling shell.

the paint is in good condition and only the bad bit is the floor which needs to be cut out and weld a new full floor panel.

obviously the engine is the most expensive thing engine whats the best thing buy an engine out right or buy the engine parts cheaply e.g block head etc .

Thanks

Assuming you only have whats in the picture and the axles id look to buy a car thats complete but not worth the time and effort on the shell.

At least that way you have an idea of what your looking for and references for rebuilding your shell.

Parts individually will probably mount up to cost more than a rotten runner.

Good luck with the project.

Ronveer Lal Unfortunately these days finding a good YB Cosworth engine and gearbox will be expensive which ever way you go about it.Finding all the parts, block, head , crank etc will probably cost as much as a complete engine. Try some of the well known RS breakers to see what they have and that will give you a realistic idea on prices. Good luck with your project..
