Default Track day noise limit

Are there any UK track days with no dB limit ?

I'm guessing there probably isn't but thought worth an ask

Even the noisy days are limited - saw one for Snetterton that was 105db drive by and 108db static.

I currently have an issue with my side exit on my 500 track car being to loud but snetterton I believe is one of the better tracks for higher noise dB.

Doubt it.

But it is just a reality we have to contend with, and it isn't that difficult to make cars quiet enough to comply. Protecting motorsport venues needs to be a priority, don't give the arseholes whinging about them ammunition by being too loud.

There used to be be some unlimited days, obviously few and far between also expensive.
best to contact a couple of trackday organisers and ask if they have any.

Drive by, the only way will be a on road drive by with the meter road.

Most static tests are done as per MSA, 3/4 of max rpm, with meter 0.5m from exhaust, at 45deg angle to the exhaust outlet.

Of course a static test is off load so not always that relevant, and screamer pipes can present another issue.
