Default Best solvent degreaser

Just got myself a Sealy pressurised parts cleaner so just need some solvent degreaser to fill it.. 25 litres us fine as it holds 50

Whats the best in your option

On mine it said to be careful with anything oil or petroleum based unless I upgraded to the pump that could handle those so worth checking.

hd degreaser is the best I have found, I think I have a pic of the bottle


Can use neat or diluted. I believe they may work better with Dionised water (at least that is what my ultrasonic cleaner company says)

Mine compressed air operated so I think can use any solvent.

I’ve used kerosene recently but it stinks so I’d advise a mask.

Ive used that surfex HD in the past it is good but try screwfix heavy duty degreaser 😉 I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the cost difference too.

Managed to track down some odourless kerosene degreaser from a chemical company.

Tried the screw fix stuff. Not bad but I’ve used better like Jizar
