Exclamation 2.0 rwd zetec clutch problem

Hello I'm currently doing a zetec conversion into my sierra sapphire, I'm using the 2.0 blacktop from a mondeo with original cvh type 9 gearbox. My problem is I have no resistance on the clutch folk? I'm using the standard 2.0 flywheel and clutch kit! I've put a spigot bearing in the crank and a ct133 release bearing on the clutch folk, the gearbox slides into place fine and bolts up but I have no resistance on the clutch folk. Has anyone got any experience on these conversations that could help, I'm new to these conversations and learning as I go. I have tried to attach a video but is not supported so hear is a pic of the gap between release bearing and clutch. Thanks jay

when I did mine in my mk2 I used a 1800 flat fly and redrilled the flywheel to accept the pinto clutch, never had any clutch problems with the sierra pinto clutch at all, did loads of trackdays and kicked the shit out of the car constantly.

When I did mine I used a Capri release bearing that was much thicker, I can’t remember the part number but I’m sure gs escorts sell them

Standard Zetec 2.0 clutch and cct133 should work fine in a t9 but not an Mt75.

your bearing does not look like a cct133

There will be some gap. As the clutch wears the fingers in the cover plate rise.

Thanks for the replys! Yeah I believed the bearing I had was a cct133 but I was wrong so I've orderd a cct133 off ebay so should hopefully sort my problem out, thanks again
