Just got my dump valve bung through off ebay (It was off a guy on here, sorry cant remember name) and fitted it, blocked off the vacuum hose with a screw for now and took it out for a drive!
Let it warm up and it feels sooooo much smoother and when I change gear I get a little bit of chatter!
Fitting the K&N later so maybe this will make the chatter sound a bit louder
Its much nicer to drive too but it does feel wierd not hearing the noise when I change gear!

I think it was about 4 quid....less than a tenner including delivery
Looks a bit shinier than a broom handle
Mine is running about 15-17 psi so you can hear it a bit, with a K&N will it make much diff?

Spadgeroo, no DV required AT ALL on an RST (KEJet) - in fact the fitment of ones causes problems which then have to engineered out = don't bother fitting one in the first place
.
Do you really not notice a difference between a DV'd car and one without? (Sub T4 turbos anyways)??

spadge, KEJET is a metered air system... the metering head needs to "know" about every last little bit of air...
you let metered air out of the dumpvalve instead of letting it get into the engine, and you're asking for running problems
