Default FAO: Under 20's insured on any RS

Right, spent a good bit of the day on the phone to insurance companies...

Im 18, one years driving experiance, no NCB.

Cheapest quote ive had on a standard S2 RST is £2600 from "1st quote"

What a rip.

Anyway, to all the under 20's driving RST's/RS of any sort:

1. Who insures you?
2. How much do you Pay?
3. FC, TPFT or TP?

If you could answer that, it'd be mucho appreciated

Cheers, Coldo.

Honestly mate I'd say you've got sod all chance. Don't want to discourage a fellow RS enthusiast but your best option is to get a shitter to get 12months NCB. You well then be a year older and you will find it easier. My bro was still stung £1600 on his FRST with 2 years NCB.

go to elephant.co.uk and in the additional drivers section put your mum or dad in, and it will come down by a couple of hundred, try your mum names first as it looks better, i do it everytime and my mums never going to even sit in my car

Elephant are part of the Admiral group (so are Diamond) They are beyond utter shit if you need to claim. I was told that if my car was hit and needed a new wheel they would only put a standard Ford 15" rim on. I said but the car has 17's as per my policy. Was told they will only replace with standard parts. Fookin waste of time declaring the mods then

I'm not even going to start on the grief my sis had when she was shunted from behind in her 106

Totally fooking useless
