I have posted this in general chat thread too,
Looking at buying this car, its currently on e bay at 16k. I know it has a history, i.e wrote off 3 times in first 4 years. (I guess a lot had a hard life early on?)
Is it worth looking at or will it be a nightmare car should I ever wish to sell??
Any knowledge on the car or peoples thoughts either way are welcome.
Thanks

16k for a car that's been wrote off 3 times.
Is there something i'm missing as there's no way i'd spend that on a car that's been wrote off that many times unless it was something that is uber rare.
Sorry to be a bit blunt but if its just a rs turbo they are still quite easily to find.

It'll be the Trigger special edition.
3 new shells, 2 new engines, 5 sets of wheels and fully replaced suspension and interior.
But it's all original, matching numbers as the Yanks would say.
Oh and a solid investment as well.
Advert shows HPI clear, where has the written off 3 times come from?
Found it.
In 2017 it was sold for Ł10120 with the below details,

My mate owned it around 1988-89, and he was responsoble for write off #2. He was surprised when it resurfaced in 2012, because as far as he was concerned it was totalled when it was taken away from him.
