?? Both came up with the same insurance premium on a quote I got, what is the difference between the 2 cars as I may have my eye on a Mexico.

Why dont you just go for the GTI mate,probably a bit more money i just picked a black 5door up with 60k on the clock with FSH and all mots fo 1700 quid

The Si is a better spec car.

The mexico has a badge, well a cheap sticker on the back that says "Mexico" which, IMO is where they should all be sent because they share absolutely NO charactersitcs with the original Mexico's apart from they're both cars.

At least the Si's a good ole honest Ford

 

I heard they were basically the same car with different trim? What are the differences? I can't seem to find either nearby or at a good price right now tho!

 

The mexico is just a badged up base model (black bumpers, wheel trims) with white dials and snazzy black seat trim, the Si is a much better model with body coloured bumpers, front fogs, heated front screen, alloys etc
