Default Urgent Help! Pinion seal leaking

Just putting car back together ready for sunday and found a leak from my Rear diff, It's coming from the pinion, leaking through and out of the main flange.
Is threre a seal and Are these easy to change on a 4x4 Saff cos or is there preload on that main input flange?

Please need Urgent Help as car needs to be ready for sunday

The pinion seal can be changed without altering preload, as the nut that holds the flange on does not do preload. That is done with another nut further down the shaft.

We have seals in stock

Cheers for your advice Bernie.

I had already ordered seal this morning from Ford sorry Will think of you next time.
Things have been a bitt mad. Getting car ready for Sunday all underneath has een painted last thing I wanted was oil splattered all over it

I hope it's that seal seem strange as it's leaking from the front Not behind the Flange???

Does this sound right?

Also anything eles to watch out for when changeing the seal?

Thanks again

There is a washer glued/peened to the front of the flange (you'll see when you get it off) and this washer has come away
You will probably need another flange
