Hi guys. Need a bit of advice . I've got a 2006 Ghia X 2l Petrol Mondy. Its probably the most relaible car I've ever owned (now at 137k miles and other than regular service items only ever replaced the normal seized rear calipers and a set of rear springs ). So its had the death rattle for a while now. Taking the manifold off and removing them is not a job I feel comfortable or able to do myself. Does anyone know of anyone on Essex/ North london who I could pay to do this. I know shes an old car with a tonne of mileage and I really should replace it but it's now a challenge to see how many miles I can get out of it before it becomes a money pit.

 

I imagine that is a simple job for a specialist?

 

It is. Everyday work for a garage. And when you're a little bit into cars it's not that difficult to do on your own.

 

Loads of room in the mondeo and the manifold is on the front of the engine.
