Escort MK6 - Restore or Scrap
I have a 1998 escort mk6, zetec 1.6, 5dr with 47000 miles on the clock. Unfortunately it has 4 rusted inner & outer sills, rusted rear quarter panels (above arch) and rust around the lock on the boot lid. It looks solid underside, but I haven't put it up on a lift for a proper inspection.
Do you think that there is any hope of restoring?

Boot you could swap out in minutes.
Sills are a given on any ford
Rear quarter could be a pain depending how far gone.
If you have the skills to DIY and fancy a project, or have sentimental attachment (tho if you did, why did you let it get that bad :P ) then why not.
But as a car thats just passing hands, not worth the energy IMO as you won't get the money back for your efforts on a standard 4door mk6
