Default Brake pipe

Hi,

After many years of going through MOT's without an issue, it has failed this year due to a kink in my rear offside brake line (wishbone to flexi on a Cosworth) which has always been there.

Ideally I wanted to get another without having to flare, as I neither have the tooling for this, nor the fittings.

Does anyone know who does these, as I have tried searching online to no avail.

Thanks,

Martin

Get the Flaremaster 2 from Sykes....and just DIY.

Although surely any garage could make you up a pipe if you take the old one to them ? Kunifer preferably.

Thanks, Stevie.

That is what I am going to do, my garage says they have the fittings as well.

Any motor factors, ebay, whatever will have the fittings.

Or at a search, I think some stainless fittings are available.

Flaremaster 2 is a great tool though. There are cheaper options out there, but other than a tool that goes into a vice, it's probably the best and most practical and can be bought for sensible money on ebay etc.

But as Stevie says a garage should make you up a pipe if you take yours for them to copy.
