Default Cosworth fuel pressure regulator

Im running a L8 ECU is it possible to use an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator
the one I’m looking at is the sytec as below
will it work fine through the boost range or is it best to stick to original
thanks

Original fpr Weber is far much better than sytec. Why do you want to replace it?

I’ve got all AN fittings throughout the car
The original fuel rail and regulator don’t allow them to be fitted

I've been running that sytec regulator on mine with L8 for years now without any issues. I think i got it from MSD.

Having said that It is definitely a bit of a low-mid range budget option and doing it again i would probably spec the best i could afford as the fuel delivery system is so critical.

The choice is yours...

Why is the original Weber one so much better?
especially if it is 30 years old?

Cheers Paul

Uses the one sold by anembo machined in the mass with an escort capsule. There are leaks with these regulators adjustable especially if you use a manometer
